Outlook 2003 stopped working - Vista

I'm running Vista Home Premium with Office 2003. Everything has been working
OK for months - some occasional errors that restarting takes care of.

But now I can't start Outlook. When I try to start it, I get the message
Microsoft Office Outlook has stopped working, and then the usual stuff about
closing or trying to find a solution and closing.

I've done a system restore to before the problem, but it made no difference.

I'm stuck on what to try next.

Thanks

My Office 2007 decided to stop working today as well. I don't think it's any
coincidence that my Hotmail account switched over to the new Live look and
feel today either since my main Outlook account uses Outlook connector to
interface w/ Hotmail.

Are you also using the Outlook connector?

I was having trouble earlier today and I suspected the problem might be
related to Outlook Connector, so I upgraded it to the latest version of the
connector that I could find. The only difference it seemed to make is that
now I get the

"Microsoft Office Outlook has stopped working" message within seconds
instead of several minutes of starting Outlook.

The relevant entry in the event log :

Faulting application OUTLOOK.EXE, version 12.0.6316.5000, time stamp
0x4833a470, faulting module MSNCON32.DLL, version 12.0.6407.1000, time stamp

0xdf0, application start time 0x01c9569f1c2aedb0.

Can you tell me how to pull the information from the Event Viewer? It has
been a while since I've done this, and I can't see exactly what to pull.

I see Redemption.dll in your faulting module list, which is part of an
add-on. Try starting Outlook in Safe Mode (Start -> Run -> outlook.exe
/safe) and see if it starts correctly.

If so, remove or update the faulty add-in.
