Outlook 2003 spam filter not working

Eric

I'm upgrading our Outlook 2002 clients with Outlook 2003. We're
running against
Exchange 5.5. We'll be upgrading to Exchange 2003 later this year but
for now I'm interested in having Outlook 2003 do some spam filtering.

I've installed Outlook 2003 (including updates and latest spam filter
from MS) on a production machine where it replaced Outlook 2002.

I've set the filter to High and enabled cache mode, but every morning
my inbox contains mucho spam messages and not a single one has been
added to my Junk Email folder. It appears that it's not catching even
a single spam message during the three days of testing.

Am I doing something wrong? Why isn't the filter catching even one
single spam message?

We were testing Inboxer with Outlook 2002 before this and Inboxer
caught at least 90% of incoming spam.

Any help or suggestions are appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Eric

Do you have setted a rule that moves incoming emails in different folders?

No I don't. I do not have any rules set. My incoming emails go to my
Inbox. I just set the filter to high and enabled cached mode. Was
there something else I need to do?

I think the only thing to do is to set some rules. But it can block only a
little part of spam.
My Outlook 2003 filter works good, but the rules make a caos... they move
spam from spam folder to my account folders!! I think this is a bug...
