Outlook 2003 slow w/ attachments

When selecting, opening or trying to delete any messeges with
attachments Outlook brings up the hour glass and remains there for
atleast 30 seconds. In never goes into to "not reponding" mode. There
are a couple PC's in my office (not all) that have recently started
acting this way.

Any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated.

I haven't been able to solve this problem either. We too have several
computers, all have been purchased with MSOffice 2003 pre-loaded, that act as
you discribed. All are up to date on updates, and been had Office reloaded,
we even formated the HDs and reloaded everything, nothing has fixed the
problem.

Were you able to find any information on this? My users have the same
problem and I have no idea what is causing it.

I to have a few machines that are doing this. I had heard this was actually
a known issue and to remove the last windows updates that were installed.
But I haven't been able to find any doc. on this anywhere, this had just been
through the tech grapevine.
