Outlook 2003 - Recieving mail but not sending

G

Guest

Outlook was working fine 2 days ago, I have changed nothing and now it will
not send emails. I have spoken to my ISP (orange ) and useless does not begin
to describe them but they assure me everything is working fine. Next onto
Symantec as I have read that there may be a firewall conflict, one updated
verion of norton later with sevice pack update still no joy.

I feel like I am banging my head against a brick wall, can anybody help?

I press send and it seems to think for about 30 seconds then an error message
comes up.

reported error (0x800CCC0F) the connection to the server was interrupted.

When I try a test e-mail it says,

The specified server was found, but there was no reply from the
server. Please verify that the port and SSL information is correct.

Like I said i have been in touch with Orange (my ISP) who insist everything
is ok at their end.

My broadband works fine so I am a bit puzzled.

If your virus scanner integrates with Outlook disable this integration and
try again.
