Outlook 2003 POP3 AND hotmail password problem...

Hey all...I was wondering if anyone else had experienced this problem with
outlook 2003... For my hotmail account and my pop3 email account, outlook
will often say that a password is incorrect, even if I verify it multiple
times (and it works in webmail based email)... Interstingly, my pop3 server
is actually an IMAP server that I choose to use as pop3 (so as to download
the emails rather than keep them on the server)...I DO NOT have this problem
with the server configured as an IMAP server (and I used it as a pop3 server
in outlook XP with no problem). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I can't create a Hotmail account, either, with symptoms just as you
describe, but that could be because our corporate firewall doesn't allow
that type of connection. It's just not important enough to me to track down
the reason, since I can read it via web.
