Outlook 2003 passwords not being saved

I have a new problem that occurred yesterday and today. My Outlook 2003
passwords are not being saved even though I have all the proper preferences
checked and have complied with KB Article ID 290684. No matter what I do, I
have to re-enter my password each time Outlook goes to find new mail on the
ISP server.

Does the password retain or its empty, do u have any security application
installed.

Each time I log in, no matter what I do, the password is empty as is the
"remember me" box. I use Microsoft Live One Care and have made NO changes to
my system since the day before this happened other than running the "repair"
functionality. It made no difference from before I ran it. I see it is a
common problem.
