Outlook 2003 Outlok Destop Icon

For some reason, when I install Office 2003 Beta 2, I do
not get an Outlook desktop icon. Any ideas?
 
I presume that you're running Windows XP. Not putting an icon on the
desktop during installation is a Windows XP logo requirement, so Outlook
does not do this. If you want one there, you can always create a shortcut.
 
Default install behavior. We removed the desktop icon in Office 2003.
