Outlook 2003 not responding

I installed Office 2003 on a networked XP system, and
using Mailwasher Pro. I opened Outlook and configured it.
when I did open it, I noticed an Outlook icon appeared in
the System Tray and stayed there when I closed the
program. Outlook then does not reopen. When I click on
the icon in the sys. tray, the following message
appears: "Outlook is not responding. If you are using an
Exchange server e-mail account, you can cancel pending
server requests by clicking the Outlook icon in the
notifications area, and then clicking Cancel Server
Request on the shortcut menu."

The only way I can get Outlook to open is to reboot and
then it only works until I close it. It won't repen
unless I reboot.

Thanks in advance.

I ran into the same problem with Norton Internet Security 2004. When I
disable the anti-spam portion of the software, I got rid of this issue. Try
disabling or removing the Mailwasher software.
