OUTLOOK 2003 - Not dispayimg pictures

I am running OUTLOOK 2003, and I cannot display pictutes in received e-mails.

A red X appears instead of a picture and the option to download the picture
is not available.

Can anyone help please?/

Tools, options, security, Change automatic download settings , uncheck 'Don't
download....' Leave Warn me checked.

Hi, can you tell me if you have solved this problem. I have the same
problem and have tried all the suggested advice but still the red cross
appears and I cannot downloan any pictures.

I think the picture you're trying t view is in a web site and if that pic is
not there then it will be not visible to you. By default any web pictures
won't be shown in the outllok instead it will appear as X mark. I think
