Outlook 2003---no Monday?

Last Monday and again today I encountered the same
problem. Today when I tried to see my new e-mails there
was nothing new since last Friday (impossible!) and the
same thing happened last week too. Last week after
removing the profiles, data files, running the inbox
repair tool, I gave up, went home, and the next day the
problem is gone. Mail is going thru W2K Exchange - XP
Pro- Office 2003 on a laptop. The mail is there, because
when I access it thru Outlook Web Access off our server
it's Ok---all there! In fact when I deleted some new
mails off the remote access, I could see the mail in my
deleted items...so I thought it had something to do with
the views, but I've tried everything I can think of.
Views are set up properly. What should I do next?
