Outlook 2003 multiple profiles

Hi there. Ok here is my problem. First things first. This user is on outlook
2003 and it is on a laptop and he does not connect to an exchange server.
Now, he had his original email address at (e-mail address removed) and i registered
him a domain and setup a new email addres at (e-mail address removed). Now he had
an outlook data .pst file already for his earthlink and i setup a new .pst
file for his email to his new domain. Now under the email accounts setup he
has 2 profiles which are the ones described before. Now when i tell the new
profile to deliver email to his new data file it automatically switches his
location to deliver his earthlink to the new domain even though i did not
change it. I want his earthlink to download to his 1st .pst and the new
domain to deliver mail to his .pst i created but when he recieves new email
it all delivers to one .pst file and i can not designate to have earthlink
send email to one and keep them seperated. Is this possible? If so how do i
do this. Thanks

Two options.

1) configure outlook to prompt for which profile to use. (this will force
the user to pick which profile is going to be used.) this can be done via
the mail applet in the control panel (select show profiles and deal with the
bottom half of the dialog.)

2) the second option is to create 2 shortcuts on the desktop that launch a
specific profile. however one must keep in mind that Outlook *cannot* run
two profile simulatenously. therefore it is easy for the user to launch the
second profile and still be in the first. (no error messages or dialogs.
Outlook just quitely opens up a new window to the current open profile.)
