Outlook 2003 Losing Signature

Hi all

We have Exchange Server 2003 and our clients use outlook 2003. A small
number of our users are having an issue with their signatures. They have one
configured but each time they load outlook they have to go into tools,
options etc and select it from the drop down list.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

You mean after a restart of the entire computer or just a simple restart of
Outlook is breaking it?
Are you using roaming profiles?

Have you verified that the profile is successfully written back to the
server? Is this the only setting that is not "sticking"?

Hi,

Have had the same problem with mandatory profiiles. The signature is there
when you initially point to it and after you log off. As soon as you restart
the PC, the signature goes!!!

I've trawled the internet and have found a vb script which creates a
mandatory signature based on Active Directory Information.

Here's the link.

Post back and let us know how you get on.

Rob.

happening to us. But nobody has responded again since December 5. Maybe my
addition here will "wake up this post" again?

* We use roaming profiles
* The signature is there, just have to select it again
* Laptops docking / undocking
* Outlook 2003; Exchange 2003. All SPs applied.

Hopeful thanks in advance!

Hi,

I have the same problem, but am not using mandatory or roaming profiles. I
don't like the idea of creating a company signature. But would like to know
if there is another way to solve this issue.

Thanks

I'd like to bump this question. Having the same issue with some of our
employees - signature settings revert to <None> when accessing Outlook from
another PC. The signature is still saved and can be chosen. We're also not
losing any other Outlook functionality, just those Signature settings.

Anyone? Bueller?

I am still having this issue with some users. Windows XP SP3, Outlook 2003, no roaming profiles.

Has anyone found a solution? I've tried deleting and rebuilding the Outlook profile to no avail.
