I installed MS Office 2003 on my new laptop. I already have it on my desktop
and use outlook on there. I want to copy over my pst files, calendar etc
over to my laptop. When do I copy this stuff over? Do I complete the set up
Outlook on my laptop including all of my settings and POP3 account info, then
cpoy them? (I had installed it on the laptop but never fired up Outlook for
the first time).

Copy your PST over.
You may also want to use the Save My Settings Wizard to transfer settings.
Start -Microsoft Office-Office Tools - Save My Settings Wizard.

Transfer your settings over.
Then start Outlook on the new computer.
It will create a new PST for you.
Quit Outlook.
Delete the PST file.
Put your copied PST to wherever you want it.
Start Outlook which will tell you it can't find the PST.
Select the old PST and you're set to go.
