Outlook 2003 Inbox blank

Hi. We have an annoying problem on several users' WinXP/Office 2003
computers. Occasionally the Inbox appears to be blank in the right
pane, but if you click on one of the column headings in the right
pane, all the messages show up. Is this happening to anyone else?
Thanks, Jim Esten

I am searching the groups now for that very problem.
However, I haven't tried clicking on a column heading to
see if they reappear. I just keep having the inbox go
blank. I would love suggestions!

I am not sure why clicking on a heading would work, but the most likely
cause for the inbox becoming blank would be setting your current view under
"View" to something like "Last seven days" or "Unread messages in this
folder."

Thanks, but that's not it. I'm aware of the 'uread messages' under
the view menu (which seems to get selected of its own accord at times,
but that's a separate issue). I'm less than impressed with this
version of Outlook. I don't care about the cool new features if it
causes us more administration and troubleshooting time. I wish to
hell Microsoft would release a version that isnt' buggy.

Jim,

I'm having the exact same problem in my Spam folder (but only my spam
older). If sorted by date, there are no postings. If I sort by anything
else, they all appear!

If I find anything out I will let you know...
