Outlook 2003 going offline

John

I have a customer that I recently installed Exchange 2003 with Outlook 2003
on their PC's. I am getting tech support calls from users saying they are
not getting their email. So far 6 times in the last 2 weeks the issue has
been that their Outlook is working in the offline mode. We can reset it to
online and everything is fine. I have not rebooted the server in 2 months.
Any suggestions as to what is happening? Can I disable the offline mode
completely? They are all desktop PC's.

TIA

John

What SP on Office/Outlook 2003?
Any network probloems you know of?
You can disable cached mode, but if you're having network problems that are
causing Outlook to work offline, this won't help fix the underlying problem.

SP1 on Exchange and SP1 on Outlook.

I was thinking that it might be network issues too but I wanted to research
this angle first.
