Outlook 2003 folder options

I have just bought an ACER 12inch tablet notebook.
I recently loaded outlook 2003 onto the notebook. i imported all of my
existing mail from my old 15inch notebook.
I have got quite a big .pst file and a lot of subfolders in my outlook. When
i open my outlook and then expand my subfolders (about 10 deep) it seems
fine. However when i close outlook once i have expanded the folders and then
i reopen outlook, the folders go back to the default layout and i have to
then reopen all of my subfolders again.
This is just time wasting and it did not do it on my old notebook.

Please advise as to what might be doing this - perhaps a caching issue ??

Thank you in advance.

What add-in's are enabled on this install (tools - options - other -
advanced options - Add-in manager and Com add-ins)?

Also, when you say you 'imported' the mail, did you simply copy the pst file
from one machine to another?
