Dear Customer,
Thank you for posting.
From your post, I understand Outlook Signature files are lost automatically
3 times in 6 weeks from the Signatures folder (%userprofile%\Application
Data\Microsoft\Signatures). If I'm off base, please feel free to let me
know.
At this time, in order to know the problem more clearly, please let me know:
1. Whether only one user encountered the problem or all users?
2. Please let me know the Windows version and Outlook version
3. Whether it is a Windows Remaining profile or Local Profile
In addition, I suggest we attempt the following method to help
troubleshooting the issue:
Suggestion 1: Please configure the Anti-virus software on the client server
to exclude the signatures folder for scanning.
Suggestion 2: If the issue still persists, I suggest you perform Clean Boot
to disable third-party software and check the result again.
++++++++++++++++
1) Run MSCONFIG.EXE. (MSCONFIG is a built-in tool for Windows XP\2003
systems.)
2) In the Services tab, click "Hide All Microsoft Services" and click
"Disable All".
3) In the Startup tab, click "Disable All". Click OK. (This will
temporarily prevent third-party programs from running automatically during
start-up.)
4) Restart the computer. Please monitor the issue and check whether the
issue still persists.
If the problem does not occur, it indicates that the problem is related to
one application or service we have disabled. You can use the MSCONFIG tool
again to re-enable the disabled item one by one to find out the culprit.
Sincerely,
Mike Shen
