Outlook 2003: Creating DL from pasting entries in a "to" line

Hi--I have a bunch of addresses in a "to" line; some of them appear as "user
name" or as "user name <[email protected]>" When I try to paste these into
the Add to DL box, only the user names appear and the addresses get lost.

Is there a way to preserve the underlying e-mail addresses so that I don't
need to retype each one? (none of these is in my contacts list).

FYI, the steps I'm using: In the mail message, select the names/addresses,
and hit ctrl-c. In Outlook, click New/DL/; enter a name; click Select
numbers, click the members box, and hit Ctrl-V.

Thanks!

To make sure you copy the address right click the user address-> Outlook
Properties-> copy the E-mail address field

Thanks--but I can only do that one at a time, right, and have to close the
"select members" dialog in between each one? I can certainly do that but it's
prone to finger-slipping, so I was hoping to be able to do a bulk copy, using
some kind of setting.

Thanks again for your response, and let me know if anything else comes to
mind.
