Does anyone know why my Outlook 2003 contacts are only auto linking emails to
some of my contacts and not all of them? I have the Basic Outlook 2003 version

What do you mean by "autolinking emails"? Do you mean the Autocompletion or
"Suggest Names" feature that allows Outlook to show you suggestions as you
type in the To field? If that's what you mean, then be aware that that
feature doesn't connect to your Contacts in any way whatsoever. It's just a
memory of the addresses you've used before, whether or not they're a contact.
If you entered it in the To, Cc, or Bcc field, Outlook will remember it.

Brian,

Thanks for the response. What I was referring to were the emails being
linked to the contact file under the "Activities" tab. According to Outlook
every email sent to someone in my contacts book will be linked to the Contact
when I click on "Activities". The problem I'm having is that it works with
some of my contacts but not all of them.

Does that make sense?
