Does anyone know if you can automatically create recurring calendar items
based on the birthdate field in an imported contact item. I really don't
want to import a calendar file and I really don't want to go into each
contact and update the birthdate field to generate a calendar item. I am
looking for a short cut. thanks

Why are you importing at all? Is this from a non-Outlook file?

I had to rebuild my laptop and I am copying my contacts from another PC. It
is a CSV file out of outlook 2003 on a desk top.

VERY inefficient. Just copy the original PST. NEVER use import/export when
transferring from Outlook to Outlook.
