Hi all,
am a new comer to this NG, kindly advise me how to create a profile in MS
Outlook 2003 with a windows live account (example: (e-mail address removed) with the
help of outlook connector).

Note this outlook 2003 already had a profile which was used by my collegue.

Do you want a separate profile or do you want to add the Hotmail account to
the existing profile (i.e., use more than one account in the single
profile)? See
http://www.howto-outlook.com/faq/newprofile.htm for the former. For the
latter, Tools>E-mail Accounts>Add a new e-mail account>Next. Select HTTP.
 
What I require is a separate profile with the only hotmail account.

After installing the beta V12.1 Outlook Connector, create a new mail profile
using the Mail applet in Control Panel. Add the Hotmail account. You
should be able to specify the Hotmail folders as the delivery location.
This should allow you to have only the Hotmail folders.
