Outlook 2003 calendar not sync with blackberry

Until recently, I could sync my blackberry 8830 with my outlook 2003
calandar. However, now nothing I add on my BB gets transferred to my outlook
and the last sync wiped out some of the items that were on my outlook
calendar but not all.

It seems the problem is only one way. Items on balckberry not getting to
Outlook.

Do you see them if you use the By Category view?
On the items that were removed - were they old items? If so, how long do you
have the BB configured to keep older items?

I found another method to resolve my issue- I did as this person suggests and
now it seems to work.
