Is there a fix for this error?

Any changes to the system between when it worked and when it didn't work, or
has it never worked?

No major changes. Maybe an auto update from microsoft

Has it ever worked? Can you make sure that SP1 is installed for BCM
(http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;839881)?

I solved the problem by uninstalling the Business Contact Manager the re
installing it from the disk I received with my computer. Is ther a tour for
Business contact Manager (BCM) as to what function it performs, or how to us
the BCM as part of outlook?

There should be an item under the Business Tools menu in Outlook, iirc. I
don't have BCM handy to get the exact entry.
