Hello all.
I have a large (2.5 GB) .PST file as my main data file for Outlook 2003
(SP2). When I try to archive any folders within the file, or the whole file,
Outlook flashes some quick archive messages at the bottom of the screen but
only archives a few messages. There is no rhyme or reason to which messages
it chooses to archive.
I have confirmed that the 'modification' date (not just the 'received' date)
for hundreds of my messages is before the archive date I set. In fact, even
if I set the archive date to 1/1/07, it still doesn't archive properly. I
have seen posts from a lot of other people having problems with 'archive',
and all they seem to get in response is to 'check the modification date of
the messages, not the received date.' I have done this.
Scanpst says my .PST file has no errors. I have checked the box that says
'Include items with "Do not AutoArchive" checked.' And I have tried numerous
brand new empty archive files as targets.
Any ideas?
