Outlook 2003 archive not working (Modified date shows NONE)

Looking at many messages with the archive process not
working seems to me there is a problem. I have the same
problem, Archiving using File> Archive..., I've tried all
the settings, no help. I've checked the modified date, and
the problem is they say none in the modified date when I
use field chooser to add the column to my Inbox, but if I
open the e-mail and File> Properties the modified date is
the date of the e-mail. This pst file came from my 2002
Outlook. Can Microsoft address this?

I had an issue with some of my Outlook 2002 items not archiving properly
when I moved to Outlook 2003. No matter what I did, they just would not
AutoArchive, even when I set the AA date to "yesterday" and the modified
date was prior to that. Eventually I had to give up and just manually move
the items in question to my Archive file. I never did figure out why these
particular items were so stubborn. If newer items are archiving OK for you,
you have probably run into the same glitch and may have to manually
"archive" (as in drag and drop) the items in question.
