Outlook 2003 Archive Empty Folders?

Hi. I hope someone can assist me on this one.

I upgraded outlook 2000 (I had no data in outlook 2000) to outlook 2003 and
then exported from outlook express to outlook 2003 all my emails. I had
almost 1.9 GB pst file and I decided to Archive per year.

I did an archive for 2003,4,and 5. To my surprise each of the Archives
contained all the folders but each folder was empty! Can anyone explain to me
why is this happening?

Does it have to-do with the modified dates (after the Export all my emails
Modified dates have been changed)? and if so, how can I change the modified
dates to allow me to archive per year?

Also, I was trying to export some more emails to outlook 2003 and I got the
message that the program exceeded its limit. Is not it true that outlook 2003
has a 20GB capacity? So why am I getting a message at 2GB?

Yes, the modified dates are the key, and you can't change them. What you can do is sort items by the desired date, then manually move them to the archive folders.
