Outlook 2003 and Word Template

Sid Price

I have changed the normal.dot template using Word so that I have the
paragraph formatting that I want; however when I create a new email from
Outlook 2003 (using Word as editor) the formatting is not what I saved.

Can someone help please?
Sid.

I guess this is a really dumb question to have asked since I have not seen a
reply at all. However dumb it may be I am unable to fix the problem. So,
even if the answer is RTM perhaps someone could point me in the right
direction.

Thank you,
Sid.

Sid, I don't think it is a dumb question because I don't have an answer and I
have a similar problem. Suddenly both my Outlook and Word Templates started
opening with a numbered list. I fixed the Word template but that didn't fix
the Outlook problem. When I manually remove the 'numbered list' on my
emails, if someone replies to it, their response is in the form of a numbered
list! (makes me look real professional!)

Outlook's default template is stored in Outlook's "Standard Forms Library"
as the 'Message' template. Unfortunately, Microsoft refuses to include
information on changing this template in any help sites I have been able to
find.

Maybe this gives you another place to look and maybe you'll have better luck
than I in figuring it out. If so, please, please tell me how to fix it.

Andy
