Outlook 2003 and OST

Recently moved to Outlook 2003 running with Exchange 5.5. I have Outlook configured for Offline Folder but the application never syncs when prompted or exiting. You see the dialog box when you do send and receive or exit but there are no messages when offline. I have configured the send and receive settings to work with all folders but do not see the offline icon next to the selected folders in the Folder List (like was there in Outlook 2000 and XP). I have not selected cached mode, don't like the way that works when docked at work. Does anybody know how to get offline sync to work

Thank Yo

I am having the exact same problem, but have been unable
to find a resolution. I have searched through the
Outlook KB, and have only been able to track down this
reference:

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-
us;820867

Can anyone on this list confirm that this bug is at the
root of the problem, or were there specific configuration
settings lost as a part of the upgrade?

Thanks,
