I'm using Windows XP Pro and Office 2003 on my new IBM ThinkPad, and Outlook
2003 as my e-mail client. My issue is, all of my Contacts are in place but
when I go to Mail and start a "New" e-mail and click on "To" to retrieve an
e-mail address from my Contacts I get this message:

"The address list could not be displayed. The Contacts folder associated
with this address list could not be opened; it may have been moved or
deleted, or you do not have permissions. For information on how to remove
this folder from the Outlook Address Book, see Microsoft Office Outlook Help."

I'm pretty good at troubleshooting, but can't seem to work this one out. Any
help would be appreciated.

I have the same setup on my desktop PC and have no issues with this. It
associates my Contacts with my e-mail just fine.

Thanks!

Dave

And what did you find out using Outlook Help?

I would suggest that you 'import' contacts from the other PC.

Export first to a file on a floppy and then insert it on the offending PC
and import them.
