I opened my outlook 2003 this morning and all my calendar data is missing
from Aug. 2006 forward. How do I get it back? Thanks

Hello,

Your Outlook.pst file is most likely damaged.

2 options

1. Best is to restore from a recent backup.
Open the backup Outlook.pst file in menu File - Data files
Copy the missing info from the backup to your current Calendar.

2. If option 1 is not possible or not working, try this.
Close Outlook.
Search PC for file: scanpst.exe
When found, run it from the search result window.
Locate the Outlook.pst file.
Start the repair.

Thank you, but am new to this. How do I do it and where are these files? I
can't locate them.

Hi,

1. Use Windows Explorer to navigate to the default location of Outlook.pst:

C:\Documents and Settings\<your login name>\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook

2. Now make a copy of this file.

3. Locate scanpst.exe by using [Start] button, then Search.

4. Start scanpst.exe from the search result window.

5. Navigate the tool to the above mentioned default Outlook.pst location.

6. Continu to start the repair.
