Outlook 2002

I run outlook 2002 from office xp 2002. all of a sudden i can not send or
recieve messages, and the messages that are stuck in my outbox say they
haven't been sent yet but i am getting emails from the people that i sent it
to saying they are getting it multiple times. I can not delete the emails in
the outbox or even in my inbox i keep getting an error message saying : the
messaging interface has returned with an unknown error,if this persists
restart outlook. I have tried everything that i can think of downloading
updates, repairing my inbox, even deleting office xp entirely and
reinstalling and my old information is still coming up. I need to fix this
problem and i am not sure how! please help!

This behavior is very indicative of an antivirus program interfering with
Outlook. Uninstall your AV program and reinstall it without any mail
scanning feature. You will still be just as protected.
