Outlook 2002 SP3 how to transfer messages & addresses

The motherboard on the Desktop died. I copied the folder "Oulook" to a CD,
then to the hard drive of a new Laptop.

I installed Outlook 2002 [ part of Office XP ].

The bleeping import wizard will not allow me to select the Outlook files
from the old computer.

I want to tranfer my messages [ folders ] & address book.
