Outlook 2002 send/receive issue

Outlook just began acting up and when I open it up it
immediately begins to download my e-mail as it always
has. Even if there is no mail to download, Outlook will
still indicate "send/receive 100%" and just remain stuck
there indefinitely. I have SP-1 for Office XP and the SP-
2 Outlook 2002 updates. My e-mail account is set up
properly with my incoming and outgoing servers and
completes test messages with no problem. When I send an e-
mail, it again shows the send/receive 100% forever.
Any ideas?

Try the Inbox Repair Tool. If it's not listed in your start menu programs listing, search for the scanpst.exe file and run it. Good idea to make a shortcut to it for future ease-of-use.

What sort of mail account(s) do you have? If you have a POP account, could
you turn on diagnostic logging (see
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;Q300479) and post
the OPMLog.log file after this happens?
