Outlook 2002 outlook.pst file.

I accidently added a new outlook user and opened another user's outlook.pst
file with the new user's account. Now when I go back to the other outlook
user and open the outlook.pst file, I see only the email of the new user and
none of the old email of the other user. The outlook.pst file is showing over
12 MB size. So I know the other user's old email is still in there. They both
connect to the same POP3 server. I can't figure out how to recover the other
user's old email.

Go to File | Data File Management in each user's Outlook profile. Is the
same file listed for both (look at the ful filename of the file) or are they
different files for each user?

Nothing the second user did should have overwritten or deleted any of the old
user's data, which lines up with what you're saying about the file size.
What method are you using to open the .PST file? Is the Folder List open?
Are there any filters or rules set to move mail to other folders? If manual
searching doesn't help, try doing an Advanced Find.
