Outlook 2002 in Vista

H

Harriet

I have Vista on my new laptop. I have Microsoft Outlook on that computer. I
have AOL. The instructions that AOL gave me uses imap.aol.com. I have a
desktop where I use MS Outlook without any problems. The emails downloaded
into Outlook but when I try to open an email, it gives the message that
imap.aol.com is offline when I am online. Can anyone tell me what I need to
do to correct this problem?

Thanks so much!

Outlook 2002 and earlier are not fully supported on Windows Vista - http://www.outlook-tips.net/howto/vista.htm. I would expect problems - have you contacted AOL?
