Outlook 2002 firewall error with Norton Internet Security 2005

As of a couple of days ago my email (outlook 2002) has stopped working (it
locks up and shows 0% complete when I hit send/receive). When I click on
"test Settings", I get the following errors:

"Send Test email message: The specified server was found, but there was no
response from the server. Please verify that the Port and SSL setting is
correct."

"Log onto incoming mail server (Pop 3): The specified server was found,
but there was no response from the server. Please verify that the Port and
SSL setting is correct."

HOWEVER, if I disable Norton's Personal Firewall, the e-mail will work fine.
This is a pain though to constantly do this. What can I do to alleviate
this problem?

Thanks for feedback.

Specific thoughts on what I should be looking to allow Outlook in the Norton
Firewall....it already has internet Access of "Allowable and Multiple"
