Outlook 2002 Error 0x800CCC0F ?

I use Outlook 2002 with WinXP on a Pentium 4 Laptop. When
I open Outlook to get my email I get most of my mail, but
always get an error message saying "!Task - sending and
receiving reported error (0x800CCC0F): The connection to
the server was interupted. If this problem contimues
contact your ISP.
I also use Norton AntiVirus (soon will be McAfee);
and my ISP is Comcast.net. I checked with them and all my
settings are correct (POP3, SMTP, etc). I also changed the
timeout to 1 1/2 minutes from 1 minute, thinking this may
help; but it didn't make any difference. If i go to
comcast.net page to read the mail on the web, there is
always more, immediately after using Outlook.
Any help or suggestion??

Try turning off outgoing mail scanning in Norton (or McAfee) and see if that
corrects the problem.
