Outlook 2002 emails - intermittent automatic deletion

Hi,

I discovered that Outlook 2002 had been intermittently sending emails
straight to my deleted files folders. I discovered that many of my
emails that I had received in the past week had been placed unopened
into the deleted folder. I immediately examined the message rules. I
could find no applicable rule. The junk mail list was empty and
auto-archive was off. I forwarded one of the automatically deleted
messages to myself; it was placed into the deleted files upon receipt.
Messages that had made it into the inbox returned to the inbox when
forwarded.

Does any one have any ideas and/or potential solutions?

Did you get an answer. I just realized I have 50
messages in the outlook outbox. I can't get them to
send. I use hotmail and that is fine, but outlook
doesn't work.
