Outlook 2002 deleting my mail

Outlook is deleting my msgs. When I read a message and go to get out
of the message, I click the upper right "X" and the message is
deleted. Outlook express does not do this. Any way to stop it??

Click View>Arrange By>Current View and check "Messages" instead of "Unread
Messages".
