Outlook 2002 Calendar Yearly Events Not on Calendar

Is there some secret to having birthdays and other yearly events reflected
on my Calendar? There must be a way to do this.

I can see them on the Recurring Appointments List and I believe they should
at least appear on a banner at the top of each day, but am not even seeing
that.

Did you at one time import the contacts or the entire .pst file? If yes, this is one nasty side effect and the reason one NEVER imports native Outlook Data.

So . . . I will collect all the data on the calendar and
uninstall/reinstall, and input all that data manually. Yes most of it was
imported from Outlook 2000 and I've been searching for a solution ever
since. Thank you !

cont. . . . I hope that all the work of reinstalling and manual input will
not be a waste, as my calendar synchronizes regularly with my online hotmail
account. Please tell me this won't be a problem.

Before you go to that much work, try resetting the view. If the items are on
the calendar in some views but not others, it's a problem with the view.

Interesting . . . I just discovered that the yearly events do appear on the
online monthly view. That is amazing. So, if I reinstall, all those dates
will probably be picked up by my new installation. I had never bothered to
look at the online calendar before.
