Group Calendaring

We already tried "group calendar" by a company called Opus flow, which
worked OK except had some major issues with editing and updating recurring
events... is there any other applications for exchange server / outlook that
can do group calendaring... we basically need the following

When users are placed into "groups" they can see each others calendar as
part of a "department" calendar... you set up a department calendar then you
add users then every time they post a appointment in their own calendar it
also gets duplicated in the department, but if they update their calendar it
also updates the department calendar...

any ideas? thanks!

Third party is the only way to do this as you have found out with Opus flow.
I am sure there are more vendors that may provide this functionality. You
might also look at Sharepoint which can provide shared calendaring.

I wish I could say SharePoint as an option but people here say it HAS to be
in outlook and HAS to be completely integrated into their existing personal
calendars... gota love when management makes things hard when the software
doesn't natively support it and there is little choice out there to get
it...
