Outlook 2002 blocking access to file attachments

I'm sure this is an oft-asked question: My office sometimes emails me pst
files (and other useful information), but Outlook removes access to them,
because they 'may be harmful'. Is there any way to get Outlook to treat me
like a grown-up, and let ME decide which attachments I want to open? I
can't find anything in the security settings, but maybe I'm looking in the
wrong place.
