outlook 2000 sends an unwanted reply to each email

I have a machine running outlok 2000 that is sending a reply to every email
that is received. There is nothing at all in the body of the message when
this reply is received back at the original sender. There is no out of
office reply or anything like that set up as far as i can see.

Any advise would be appreciated

the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.
