Outlook 2000 Not Responding at startup

Outlook 2000 suddenly refuses to open. When I try to run
it, I get the initial Outlook 2000 logo, then nothing. I
eventually get a 'not responding' on Task Mgr.

This condition just started happening. It had been working
fine.

Outlook Express works fine.

Running Win/me.

My first step would be to remove the e-mail profile
(after making sure you know how to reset them)
If outlook fails to start with just a Personal Folder in
the profile, then try a reinstall.
If you can get into outlook with a blank personal folder
check the add-ins - there could be an invalid or corrupt
add-in causing the freezing up.

Delete outcmd.dat from 'C.\windows\localsetting\applicationdata\outlook then
restart the application. We had a rash of these with Win98 machines running
Outlook 2k in the past few months this did the trick.
