I am running XP and have two users set up on the machine. One user's Outlook
works fine. The other user's Outlook launches but freezes after it loads the
inbox. I disconnected from the internet to prevent down load of new
messages, but still had the problem. I have run all updates and cleaned the
disk. Ideas??

I didthe detect/repair the scanpst.exe the inbox repair tool and it ran
through all 7/8 steps. Told me I had minor inconsistancies and that it was
optional to repair. I clicked repair (and the box make a back up was
checked) and the app froze. I don't know what else to try. Any other ideas?

Try deleting the (hidden) file %AppData%\Microsoft\Outlook\outcmd.dat

Thanks Brian. I had already tried this and it didn't help. Any other ideas?
