Outlook 2000 in Windows XP Professional

We recently upgraded to Windows XP Professional. Since
then Outlook 2000 has not been functioning properly.

Emails with no attachments seem to transmit OK. We've
tested "small" attachments (e.g. excel files) which
usually go through, but anything with a larger attachment
e.g. over 100kb seem to go into a black hole!
No "undeliverable" or error messages come back.

When starting up Outlook, it takes a while to start up
and sometimes an error message also comes up:

The add-in C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\MOCIEXT.DLL could not be
installed. Detect & Repair in the help menu - unable to
load - may be out of memory or system resources or
missing a .dll file.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did you install any third party add-ins? Disable then one by one to find
which is causing the issue.
Tools-> Options-> tab Other-> button Advanced Options-> button Add-In
Manager
Also check the COM add-ins

Thanks, checked the COM add-ins, nothing there. There
were add-ins for Fax Server Extention, Net Folders and
something called Max Sync, all of which have now been
disabled.
The only other add-ins are the McAfee Virus and Spam
protections - "McAfee VirusScan Outlook Email
Scanner", "McAfee SpamKiller" and "McAfee SpamKiller
Exchange Extension".
We have not removed these, but the problem still exists.
Is it possible that the security system could be a
problem? Obviously we are hesitant to remove these.....

The file is from Max Sync. You might want to reinstall/update it.
