OUTLOOK 2000: Import a .pst from Outlook 2003?

Guest

I have a system with Outlook 2000 and need to get data from a .pst created
from a system with Outlook 2003 ... how can this be done without upgrading to
Outlook 2003? Also, I have tried exporting to an Excel Spreadsheet, but when
importing, the system requires the original Windows 2000 disk, which I do not
have ...

From '2K3 to '2K
#1 - Find a machine with O'2003 (or O'2007 for that matter) on it and run
Outlook
#2 - Open the PST file you're trying to get data from
#3 - Create new PST file in '97-2002 format
#4 - Copy (or move) data you want from the O'2K3 PST to the newly created
'97-'2002 PST
#5 - Close new PST file and move it to your O'2K system - open it and you're
all set

*** if you're using custom forms - make sure that these get published on the
O'2K system.

You will need to find someone who has Outlook 2003 or 2007 installed and have
them create a new Outlook 97-2002 formate .PST file, then copy all of your
data from your Outlook 2003 file into it. There is no other way to do it.
