Outlook 2000 Hyperlinks

Good morning,

I have an problem with hyperlinks in Outlook 2000. For some of my users,
all is well. However, for others, when they move their cursor over the
hyperlink, the cursor changes to a hand (so outlook recognizes it as a
hyperlink), but when they try to activate the hyperlink by clicking on it,
nothing happens?

I haven't managed to identify differences in settings but there must be a
setting that controls this? Can someone explain this or provide a solution?

Thank you in advance for the help,

Daniel

If they're using IE, have them click Tools>Internet Options>Programs>Reset
Web Settings and try again.

Users do not have the required permissions... Should I do this as the admin
or can this have a negative impact?

Also, further investigation has revealed that hyperlinks to webpages work
fine, this issue is limited to office documents. Moreover, it only occurs
when making HTML formatted messages. Rich Text formatted message's
hyperlinks work fine???
