I seem to be having a hastle with my outlook clients. We use office 2000 with
all the current updates and service packs and recently have been experience
issues when replying to a persons yahoo email account. We cannot pin point
the cause as all. What happens when you click reply to a yahoo email account
- word takes up 98% of system resources and doesnt release. We have to CTRL
ALT DEL and end task. When not using word as default editor - there are no
issues at all - But we need to use word for a number of reasons. This problem
is accross the company and very frustrating. Does anyone know the cause and a
cure to sort this one out?
many thanks

Yes you are correct, word 2000 on top of outlook as the editor, we seem to
have had this problem on start in the last few weeks, so i doubt its resource
related - but all the machines are about 256meg of ram, running windows 2000
prof, plus windows xp pro, all running latest updates etc. It is a strange
problem and have seen online that there are many people getting this issue,
but i cant find a fix for it.
We have descuvered that if you change the yahoo email settings to standard
text instead of the default then you have no issues forwarding and replying
to them. But the problem arrises that we cannot tell everyone who sends
emails to us to do that as everyday new people send us emails from yahoo.

please help
thanks
