Outlook 2000 does not display # of messages being downloaded

After I click the "send/receive" button, I get a message
box that tells me the Outlook is sending and receiving
messages. However, it does not tell me the number of
messages being downloaded. Outlook 97 had this feature.
Was wondering if there is anyway to turn this on in 2000.

Outlook 97 did not have this feature.
Outlook 2000 only has it in Internet Mail Only mode. Which mode are you
using?
